Social Skills Summer Camp offered this summer in our Charlotte location

The Carolina Center for ABA and Autism Treatment is excited to announce our second annual Social Skills Summer Camp in our Charlotte location!

Due to popular demand, both programs will now be available 5 days per week allowing campers to decide which days they would like to attend.

Program One: Building the Foundation

This program is for children (ages 5 and below) with emerging social skills and functional communication.  The sessions will focus on teaching the use of functional language with peers, creating fun associations with friends, parallel to cooperative play skills, and small group instruction.

All children who attend will be 1:1 with a registered behavior technician, and a BCBA/ BCaBA will be present to facilitate group activities.  For all existing CCABA clients, a BCBA will write goals and objectives to coincide with the current plan.   The goals will be reviewed with parents at on-set, mid-point, and end of the program.

Program Two: Building Blocks

This program is for children who have emerging reciprocal conversational skills and/or are requesting with phrases.  The sessions will focus on generalizing functional communication, building conversational reciprocity, creating fun associations with friends, cooperative play, small group instruction and small group play schools.
